How and Why Kankong Kills Unexpectedly?

The Filipino nation loves this kangkong herb. They make it in stir fry, adobo as well as sinigang and this is their favorite food.

It is also named super food because of many vitamins and good nutrition. But, research showed the kangkong (water spinach ) is lethal and toxic weed type ! Such weeds are unhealthy and were nominated by experts in agriculture and crops, habitats, ecosystems and humans, livestock too.

Majority of noxious weeds are included inside the ecosystem because of negligence or by accident. So, this plant grows fast and in aggressive way, multiplies and also has no natural control over it. It shows side effects within moments of ingestion a lot of the times.

What you must know of kangkong :
Careful eating or cooking this plant, otherwise you may get Fasciolopsiasis due to the Fasciolopsis buski. This is a great parasite intestine fluke mostly in larvae cysts in water and water spinach. Also other water veggies are included during this group and also a reckless human even might pick them and eat them raw.

As far as humans and pigs go, these cysts release the fluke that attaches itself towards the intestine wall and makes digestion impaired. Also, there are allergies and abdomen pain too.

If untreated, it may be fatal so at least boil it and make sure you cook it enough.
